Dear KHS High School Parents and Guardians,
You are invited to join us on Wednesday, March 4, at 6 pm at Kenston High School for a special parent evening featuring the Do It for James Foundation (DIFJF).
The Do It For James Foundation is a nonprofit organization that partners with communities to increase awareness, provide support, and educate both parents and students about crimes against young people. We encourage you to learn more about the Do It For James Foundation by visiting the website.
This parent session will serve as a follow-up to students' presentations earlier that day, on March 4. During the evening program, families will learn how sextortion schemes operate, how to protect children online, and exactly what steps to take if this occurs. The information will be presented in a supportive, judgment-free environment focused on awareness, prevention, and help.
If you wish to have your child opt out of the student presentation, please complete the opt-out form and submit it to the school prior to the morning of March 4.
We strongly encourage all families to attend this important and informative evening. Together, we can work to better equip our students and community with the knowledge and tools to stay safe.
